Kirstie Edwards will lead the Pirates
to the promised land!

The Matadors were the only thing that stood between Trent Hilliard's team and greatness, but this year Lubbock Cooper will get there. The Pirates are loaded with talent. Edwards averages about 12 boards a game and we expect her to truly take a stand this year as one of the top centers in high school basketball. Add this to sophomore sensation Brittney Bedarz and you have a heck a one two combination in Pirate land. Look for Wylie to be the most likely team to pose a significant threat with their potent offense built around their own top-flight post in Megan Rausch. China Spring is a couple years removed from their state championship and we expect them to be one of the big surprises in 2010.
