Region 4 is plain an simple a two team race between Poth and Salado. Janette McKinney takes over in Salado and it will be no easy challenge to match last year's season but the Eagles are simply too strong not to pull this off. Boydstun is one of the smoothest basketball players in Texas and she has the heart of a champion. Joiner is a work horse for the Eagles and most of the team is still made up of juniors and sophomores. Peggy Hosek wants another state medal and Poth has ruled this region with an iron fist of late so look for them to be tough.
