DI Region 4
| Knippa Head Coach Ed Salazar says, "If we are going to make it to State we must work on making fewer turnovers at both ends, and learn to finish easy shots when penetrating. To me it seems like the strongest teams in our region are Moulton, Paint Rock & Priddy. Our losses have taught us to be more patient on offense. Loosing to Nueces Canyon the first time by 3 points and then loosing to them again by 1 point showed us that every possesion counts. These close games push our girls to try harder and make smarter decisions. I feel like one of the players that could make a big difference for us is Ashley Salazar, because she has been our team leader, scorer and does what's best for the team. I love how our girls are young yet they play with a lot of heart and hustle! |
